About Christy
Christy (also known as Mengyuan), originally from Shanghai, China, has a master’s degree from University of London, an art & jewellery follower. She is a creative artist specialised in the area of pearl jewellery design and producing oil and watercolour paintings. She constantly pursues unique and high quality artworks and has a lot of expertise with regard to the geography of pearls. Much experience had been made throughout different periods and continents, Asia, Australia, Middle East, Europe, Shanghai, London and Switzerland. She started her dream by holding a stall in Brick Lane Market in London. During her study, she followed professional painters from art schools and was attending different cultural events in markets and universities such as the UCL Chinese Cultural Fair 2013 & 2014. Her representation at these fairs was well received and brought an insight for the academic audience about Chinese art and calligraphy. She is self-motivated and passionate about jewellery design, since she started working with professional jewellery mentors in 2011.
